Tera Investment Group, founded by Natalie and Scott Teramoto, helps busy individuals create a life of passive income through commercial real estate investing.
After devoting almost two decades to a corporate legal career, Natalie was exhausted, burnt out, and realized this wasn’t how she envisioned living life to the fullest. With the sudden passing of her father, she further realized that tomorrow isn’t promised. Natalie and Scott began investing in real estate, built multiple income streams, and stopped trading their time for money. Today, their investments have allowed them to choose how they spend their time. They are passionate about helping others do the same.
Here is what Natalie and Scott say you can expect from Tera Investment Group:
Invest alongside the team in vetted commercial real estate syndications.
The general partner team executes the business plan and does the heavy lifting for their investors.
Investors can expect regular updates and distributions while taking advantage of the tax benefits.

Subtle Asian Real Estate (SARE) is a community that is run by Asian millennials, Nelson Lin and Annie Liu, who are passionate about real estate and real estate education.
Nelson grew up in the back of a Chinese to-go restaurant in the Bronx. Since “retiring” from his child labor (his words 😉), he has consulted as a data scientist for the residential division for Brookfield Asset Management and other hedge funds. He now gives back to his community in his Asian interest group of 19k+ investors at Subtle Asian Real Estate. A former techie at Apple and Microsoft, Nelson earned an engineering degree from Columbia University and is currently pursuing an MBA at the University of Chicago.
Annie was raised in San Francisco by a strong-willed, but disabled mother. She went from Section 8 housing with school loans to purchasing six investment properties within six years while working for non-profits. Her financial goal is to reach FIRE (Financial Independence Retire Early) before 45. Annie is currently pursuing her Real Estate certificate at Merritt College.
SARE hosts field trips and camping trips for its members as well as real estate webinars, classes, and conferences (SARECON) of over 400+ people.
The next SARECON is in southern California in July 2023. Check out the video here.

Ethan Gao, Principal at Gao Family Office, is a loan guarantor/key principal on real estate transactions and loans.
Gao Family Office and its principal, Ethan Gao, act a loan guarantor/key principal to help close deals and loans by showing liquidity, net worth, and experience.
Additionally, Gao Family Office makes short-term loans to deal sponsors. For example, if a deal sponsor needs to raise $10 million of LP capital to complete a transaction, but has raised only $7 million by the closing date, Gao Family Office could make a $3 million loan to help close the deal on time. The sponsors would raise money post-closing to pay off the $3 million loan.
Ethan can be contacted via LinkedIn.
